Clicker Training Fundamentals
Learn science-based, positive reinforcement dog training to give yourself and your dog the foundation skills that force free dog training is based on. You will learn the theory of how dogs learn, how to capture and shape behaviours, clicker mechanics, marker words and lots of behaviours while strengthening the bond with your dog.
One to one virtual training
Learn in your dog’s comfort zone.
For various reasons group classes aren’t always a good fit for many dogs. What’s more, dogs learn so much better when there are very few distractions and low stress. Often, classes are stressful for dogs - so much to take in! So with our virtual training your dog can focus only on the learning in their familiar surroundings. And so can you! All you need is an internet connection and a mobile phone or laptop. And whether you’re enrolled in our course or tailored training program, you will have the trainer to yourself, no big classes or groups.
Only force-free, science-backed, positive reinforcement training methods
Research shows that not only do dogs struggle to take in new information or learn new things when they are stressed, but methods that are unpleasant for dogs can actually shorten their lifespan. We use only force-free, positive reinforcement methods in our training which means it’s only a pleasant experience for both you and your dog. Science based methods are backed up by research that shows dogs learn much faster and retain the learning longer when they have a high rate of reinforcement. The learning process is fun for your dog and for you and the bond you share will strengthen during every training session. A stronger bond in itself can reduce many problem behaviours from occurring in the first place.
